Faculty: Add Zoom to your Course Navigation

Note: The instructions in this guide only work for faculty. If you are a student and Zoom does not appear in your course, you will need to reach out to your professor to determine if they are using Zoom or not.

If Zoom does not currently appear in the list of links in your course navigation, you will need to enable it and decide where you want it to appear in the navigation menu.

Go to your Canvas Course, then click the Settings link on the left in Course Navigation. This should be the last navigation link at the bottom of the menu.
Click the Navigation tab on the top [1], then click the three vertical dots to the right of Zoom [2] for more options, then click + Enable [3].
Zoom should now appear in the top area of the Navigation settings page, indicating it will be visible to students. You may drag and drop the Zoom menu to change where in the course navigation menu Zoom will appear. We recommend that you place the Zoom link right below the Home link, in order to make it more obvious to students.
Click the Save button at the bottom to apply this change.
