Using the Zoom Web Portal
While some changes to meetings and your settings can be done in the Zoom application on your computer or through the Zoom app in Canvas, there are times when you will need to access the Zoom web portal in order to enable and adjust the settings you need.
Access the Zoom web portal
- Go to https://nelboston.zoom.us/ in your web browser.
- Click "Sign in" to access your Zoom account settings.
- Login with your nesl.edu email address and password when prompted.
- If you're already logged in to your nesl.edu email account or to Canvas in your browser, then you may not be prompted to login again.
Navigating the Zoom web portal

Some important options within the web portal are:
- Profile
- Meetings
- The Meetings page has different tabs for upcoming and past meetings.
- Some meeting options, especially the option to Edit all meetings in a recurring series, can only be adjusted in the Zoom web portal.
- Recordings & Transcripts
- Settings

- If you'd like to use features such as breakout rooms or polls in meetings that you host, you'll need to enable those in your user settings first.
