Log into NELB Wi-Fi on an Android device
Please note: Due to the diversity of Android devices and manufacturers, the options and settings on your device may not completely match the steps in this guide. Please enter any of the settings detailed in this guide that your device requires.
- Access the Internet connection menu of your device through the device's Settings > Network & internet > Internet or by swiping down from the top of your screen to access your device's quick settings.
- Turn on Wi-Fi if it isn't already on.
- From the list of available networks, select NELBWIFI.
- A new window should open prompting you to enter additional settings for the NELBWIFI network. Enter the following or select these options from the provided dropdown menus:

- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
- CA certificate: Use system certificates
- Minimum TLS version: TLS v1.2
- Online Certificate status: Request certificate status
- Domain: nesl.edu
- Identity: Enter your full nesl.edu email address.
- Anonymous identity: Leave blank or delete "anonymous" if automatically filled in.
- Password: Your nesl.edu email password; this should be the same password you use to login to your email or to other applications such as Canvas.
- Click Connect at the bottom of the network connection window.
- Give your device a moment to connect. Verify you're now connected to NELBWIFI by checking for "Connected" under the network in your Internet settings, looking for the Wi-Fi symbol in your device's status bar, or by browsing the internet.
Troubleshooting
If you're unable to connect to the Wi-Fi by following these steps, check for any manufacturer-specific instructions for your device.
